By the time Tiger was only ten months old, he was already able to putt and when he was two years old, he could chip shots, tee off, and putt.
Tiger started tournaments when he was only four years old.
He had his first major golf victory when he was only eight years old.
By the time Tiger was twelve years old he already had over two-hundred trophies.
When Tiger was in junior high, he was traveling to places like France, Mexico, Canada, and Thailand to play golf.
In 1989, Tiger was invited to play in the Youth Golf Classic National. In this tournament, amateurs get to compete against professional golfers. Tiger managed to beat eight of the professionals in this tournament.
In 1990, when Tiger was fourteen, he won the Optimist International Golf Junior Championship for the fifth time.
Tiger was the youngest person to ever win the Insurance Youth Golf Classic National.
In 1991, when Tiger was fifteen, he was selected as the American Junior Golf Association's Player of the Year.
As a junior golfer, Tiger set a new world record by winning six Junior World Amateur titles.
When Tiger was sixteen years old, he was invited to play in a professional tournament called the Nissan Open. He was the youngest player ever to play in this tournament.
