These are the most dangerous airports from around the world. They lack paved runways, long runways, fair weather and general sanity. If you have a layover at any of these airports, you might want to start crossing your fingers now for good measure.

1) Ice Runway, Antarctica: This stretch of snow and ice has ZERO paved runways. The ice runway is an airstrip that helps supply Antartica’s McMurdo Station.

The super-sized aircraft like the C-130 Hercules and the C-17 Globemaster III have more than enough room to land, but the trick is making sure the ice doesn’t burst when they DO land.
